Terms and conditions

1. Who we are

These terms apply to every order placed with Bannerkoning, a trading name of Mick Janssen Media, Kerkstraat 40, 6367 JE Voerendaal, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 90988515, VAT number NL004857538B34. You can reach us at info@bannerkoning.nl.

2. When these terms apply

They apply to every offer on this website and every agreement that follows from it. You can read and save them before you complete your order. Anything that departs from them only applies if we have confirmed it to you in writing.

3. Offer and prices

• All prices are in euros.
• Every price is shown both excluding and including VAT. At checkout the VAT is listed separately; the amount including VAT is what you actually pay.
• Delivery to the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg is included in the price. For Germany, France, Austria, Denmark, Spain, Finland and Sweden we charge €15 excl. VAT per order. We don't deliver to other countries.
• The design service costs €70 and includes 2 rounds of revisions.
• Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer are not binding on us.

4. When your order is placed

Your order is final once you have completed it and your payment is confirmed; you then receive a confirmation with your order number. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if a supplied file is unusable or the content breaks the law or infringes someone else's rights.

5. Payment

Payment is handled by our payment provider Mollie, using the methods shown on the payment page. Your order only goes into production once payment is confirmed.

6. Supplying your own artwork

• You are responsible for the content of your file, including spelling, colours and the right to use the images, logos and text in it.
• We check whether your file is usable for the size you chose and contact you if something needs changing. That check is a service, not a guarantee of the end result.
• Colours always differ somewhat between your screen and print, so that is not a reason for a free reprint. We can't guarantee an exact match.

7. Design service

• We design your banner based on the brief you give us with your order.
• You receive a digital draft for approval, with 2 rounds of revisions included. Each extra round after that costs €25 excl. VAT.
• Your banner only goes into production once you have approved the draft.
• You may use the design freely to promote your own organisation, in print and online. Copyright stays with Bannerkoning: the design may not be resold or licensed to others.
• If you are not happy after the included revisions, the design fee is still payable, as the work has been done. You can then buy extra revision rounds, or have the banner printed with artwork you supply yourself.

8. Delivery

We deliver to the address you give with your order. Delivery times are an indication, not a strict deadline, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. The delivery time starts once your payment is confirmed and your print file is approved; with the design service, that is once you have approved the draft. If a delivery time is at risk, we let you know as soon as possible.

9. Right of withdrawal

Consumers normally have fourteen days to change their mind about an online purchase. That right does not apply to products made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you. Every banner is produced from your artwork or brief, so once production has started the order can no longer be withdrawn.

Until your order is in production, we can often still change or cancel it: contact us as soon as possible with your order number. We also point out this exception in the last step of ordering, just before you pay.

10. Complaints

If something is wrong with your order, contact us within 14 days of receiving it at info@bannerkoning.nl, with your order number and, if possible, a photo. If you are a consumer, the statutory period applies: reporting a defect within two months of discovering it is always in time. We reply within one working day and work with you to find a solution.

11. Liability

As far as the law allows:

• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned.
• We are not liable for consequential loss, such as lost revenue, missed business or costs because your banner did not arrive in time for an event.
• These limits do not apply in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, or where the law does not allow a limitation, for example for certain consumer rights.

12. Governing law

Dutch law applies to all agreements. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the district of Limburg, where we are based, unless the law requires a different court.
