1. Who processes your data
The data controller is Mick Janssen Media, trading as Bannerkoning, Kerkstraat 40, 6367 JE Voerendaal, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 90988515. For questions about your data, email info@bannerkoning.nl.
2. What data we process
- Your name, email address and phone number. We only use your phone number to call you if there is a problem with your file or delivery, never for anything else.
- Your delivery address.
- What you ordered: size, quantity, delivery option and your design choice.
- The file you upload, or your brief and any logo you send.
- Payment details such as the payment reference and status.
- The score, text and any photos of a review, if you leave one.
- Your name, email address, message and any files you attach when you send us a question.
We do not receive or store payment details such as your account or card number; our payment provider processes those.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- Carrying out your order, including production, delivery and contact about it. Basis: performance of the contract.
- Our accounts: keeping invoices and order details. Basis: legal obligation.
- Customer contact: answering your questions, including when you ask something through the site before ordering. We keep the conversation so we can refer back to it. Basis: performance of the contract or legitimate interest.
- Asking about your experience: 3 days after your banner is delivered we send one email asking whether you'd like to leave a review, with at most one reminder. Basis: legitimate interest. You can opt out with the link at the bottom of that email; emails about your order itself will still reach you.
If you leave a review, we publish your score, your text and your first name with the initial of your surname, or your company name and town if you choose that. We never publish your full name, email address or address. We will edit or remove your review on request.
If you add photos, we first ask you to confirm that you may share them and that any recognisable people in them agree. Without that confirmation we don't publish the photo. Basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing us; we then remove the photo.
We don't send newsletters.
4. Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. To carry out your order we use these parties, who process data on our behalf:
- Mollie: handling your payment.
- Vercel: hosting the website and storing uploaded files.
- Supabase: the database where your order is stored.
- Drukwerkdeal: prints and ships your banner. Receives your name, delivery address and the file to print, and delivers in your name.
- Google Ads: measures which ad leads to an order. Receives data about your visit, only if you have given consent in the cookie banner. Google processes this data partly in the United States. Without your consent nothing is sent to Google. See our cookie policy.
We have a data processing agreement with each of these parties, setting out that they only use your data on our behalf and protect it appropriately.
5. How long we keep data
We keep order details and invoices for as long as our accounts require; the Dutch tax authorities require seven years. We keep artwork files for up to 12 months after delivery, so you can reorder without sending them again, and then delete them. Want a file deleted sooner? Let us know and we will.
A published review stays up as long as it is relevant on the site. If you ask us to remove it, we will.
6. Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, correction or deletion, restriction of processing, and transfer of your data. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to info@bannerkoning.nl; we reply within one month.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
7. Security
The whole website runs over a secure connection (https). Access to orders and files is restricted to those who need it to carry out your order. We don't process payment details ourselves; they go straight to our payment provider.
8. Cookies
How this website uses cookies is explained in our cookie policy.
